Afternoon Tea
Melani, her two sisters, and her mom went to The Victorian Tea Room today for a proper afternoon tea. We were first shown the hall where we could choose a beautiful (???) hat. Some had to be forced, but hats were chosen by all. We were then served our first course tea (Windsor Tea) to go along with tea sandwiches. Our second course was scones and a new tea (Madagascar Spice Tea). The third course was black tea (I forget the name) along with a dainty cake, a lovely cookie, and elegant fruit. It was a great bonding experience and one we hope to repeat every year. We're all a bit too silly for Victorian times, but we had fun pretending! Here's the evidence that we wore hats:
