As I was making lunch, this was my audience. The chair was set up right in the middle of the kitchen just for Bingo and Baby Joy. Charlie is always near when there's a chance food might land on the floor.
Basia asked me what I was making for lunch, and when pancakes was one of the items, she insisted that she would take care of that part of the menu. It may seem strange to have pancakes and omelets for Sunday lunch, but I promise you it is a step up for me. Yesterday I told Jon that I decided to take a month off from cooking. Faced with children needing to eat less than 24-hours after my declaration, I broke down and cooked SOMETHING.
Brishen played with his Marble Works for quite some time today. I got it years ago at a garage sale, and it is one toy that I never threaten to give away. He doesn't play with it daily or even monthly, but he always does go back to it. Jon and Basia seem to like it, too.
