Popcorn and "Pretty" Girls

We made it to the Farmer's Market again this morning. Basia's main (possibly only) reason for going is for the fresh made kettle corn. Jon bought another tomato plant and some kale. So far most of the vegetables at the market are greens and roots. There were lots of great looking carrots, but we already had some in the fridge. I get so impatient at this time of year, waiting for tables full of produce.

I picked out Basia's clothes today because we were going to a birthday party for the little girl I watch during the week. I didn't want her dressing fancy, but I did want everything to match. I have photographic proof of her unique sense of style. Anyway, she felt very pretty today for some reason and wanted Jon to take a picture of the "pretty" girls. She reminded us several times that girls are pretty, but boys definitely are not. Here are the "pretty" girls. As soon as the party was over, Basia insisted on changing into "regular" clothes. I believe that is her code for "something I picked out myself." The same thing happens every Sunday as soon as we are home from church.
