Legos to the Extreme

I truly cannot remember the last birthday or holiday that Brishen did not request Legos as his main gift choice. It has been many, many years. The result is a room stuffed with Legos. Guess what is on his wish list for his 10th birthday in a few months?

This is Brishen's current Lego project. He leaves his Legos together, and takes them apart one-by-one to rebuild while listening to books on CD. He is currently listening to the New Testament (found in his dad's office) while building. A unique 9-year-old, I guess you'd say.

He says this is his favorite, if he is forced to choose. It still needs a few finishing touches before it is in complete form, yet again.

Brishen would like to thank all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, and friends who have contributed to this obsession over the years!

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
