Another Week in Review

So I've been a fairly lazy blogger this week, but I have taken a few pictures. Here are some of the things we have done.
We went to a science museum.

We saw "Space Chimps" at a fancy movie theater.

We picked Jon up at the airport, where Basia single-handedly wrestled his heavy hanging bag off the conveyor belt. Brishen did have to help her carry it, though.

We slept from time to time.

I spent hours sorting through party supplies and listing them on our local freecycle. Then I spent hours resorting the supplies and setting it out for others to come pick up.

Basia found this lion with a parachute among the party supplies. She immediately cut off the parachute and decided to call him a "chimp" instead of a lion. It's good to have an imagination, but I wonder what others think when they hear her call it a chimp. She does know the difference.

Basia got to do her long jumps at the all-ages track meet before they started shooting the starter pistol. I just accidentally deleted the better picture, so I'll have to post it in another post. Her first jump was 5'2", and her second jump was better than that, but I didn't hear the length. People were impressed. Brishen didn't get to do any of his events before Basia freaked out and we had to leave.
Today the kids head to a family reunion with their grandparents.

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
