Life Lessons
My dad stopped by to look at my roof and basically break the news to me that there is not much hope for it, as is. So I was learning a lovely lesson in the American dream called home ownership. Meanwhile, he taught the kids another important life lesson. He taught them that it's fun to chew on a blade of grass. Of course, my kids got a little silly about it--Brishen chomping on multiple short stems at once and Basia grazing like a cow. At least the rains have made our grass grow like crazy (it would be nicer had our lawn mower not just bit the dust).
