Random Shots from the Last Few Days

Brishen had his last regular season game on Sunday. It was a close one!

When Basia was supposed to be in bed sleeping, I heard her door open and close again. When I walked down the hall, I saw that she had left this note outside her door. She was leaving it for her dad and brother to let them know that she missed them and felt abandoned when they went to the Aggie football game without her. Did you know you could say all that with so few letters?

Jon had the day off yesterday, so he got several things done from his "to do" list. He has been promising Basia that he would make a house with her. They got all the supplies and built this house together yesterday afternoon. Jon said that he cut it out based on her drawing for size and shape. The door opens and one side of the roof opens. She is very proud.

Here is my fancy girl strutting around the bleachers at Brishen's basketball game. I told you these were random pictures.

Jon and the kids registered me for a cake decorating class for my birthday gift. My first class was last Wednesday, and I go again tomorrow. Here is the stack of frosting in various colors and consistencies that I have to bring with me this week. They are very specific about what I have to bring!

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
