A Fun Evening
After our usual busy Sunday (church, Sunday School, Christmas program practice, Children's Choir practice, Jon's meetings and wanderings), we decided to fill up our evening as well. We started by going to the Aggie/Miner women's basketball game.

We then met some friends at the Noche de Luminarias at NMSU. They display thousands of luminarias along the sidewalks of campus. Our family likes to don our fun hats each year at this event. Basia's hat is actually one that she hand sewed by herself a couple weeks ago. We walked the paths, rode the horse-drawn carriage (leaving Jon behind so he could continue to breathe freely), and even got to see Santa. We did miss having Grandmother there. She usually helps us end the evening with a trunk full of hot chocolate, cider, and goodies galore. OK, we missed her company, too!
