"The Deep End"
Basia loves to tell anyone who will listen all about our vacation. One phrase she has now used several times really cracks me up. Basia likes to describe the time the wave crashed over her head as being the time she was "in the deep end of the ocean." Hmm, I don't remember her the water ever reaching much above her knees.

Can you imagine the stories she and Alyssa would come up with if we gave them the time? "When I was five, I almost drowned because my mom left me in the deep end of the ocean. BY MYSELF!" "Well, when I was two, my mom almost burned my ear off with a curling iron. Seriously!" Ah, those girls! What would we do without them?
They are quite inventive girls!
