37. Jane Austen ruined my life by Beth Pattillo
This was a fun book that made me really want to go to England to visit all those great Austen sites. I will have to remind myself, however, that this was a fiction book. I really don't want to get my Jane Austen facts and fiction all mixed up. I think I'm in the mood for another Pride and Prejudice mega marathon, if anyone has the stamina to join me one of these days!
38. Incredible Journey, Born in the Year of Courage, and Chucaro, Wild Pony of the Pampa
I am assigning tons of books for Brishen to read over the summer. That means I need to be reading tons of his books. I want a little credit, but some of the books are fairly easy and short, so I'm combining the three of these books I read into one credit. Brishen doesn't think it's fair that I get credit for these when he doesn't. I try to remind him that he gets credit for them over on our homeschooling blog. I'm sure I'll add up all he's read at the end of the year to give him one big, glorious number.
