Backlog of Pictures

...in the order they were taken.

My best friend from high school and I...15 years later.

Basia begs to sew all the time. I finally cut out a doll shape for her. I showed her how to make little, tiny stitches, and I forbade anyone to help her. I'm hoping that it will last her a few "Mom, can I sew today?" days. So far, so good.

This beauty was a gift from a couple at church. The kids still haven't let me cut into it. Let's just say that our garden isn't doing quite that well.

Here are some pictures of us waiting for the Electric Lights Parade. Adventure! Cold, wet adventure. The rain literally never stopped for the 1-hour plus wait or for the entire parade, but we are hardy souls (some of us, anyway. there were those who left before the fun even began!)

Isn't my son handsome?

Happy Birthday! I hope I look that good at 55!!

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
