Brishen:
38. The Last Apprentice: Night of the Soul Stealers by Joseph Delaney
Melani:
41. The Friendly Jane Austen by Natalie Tyler
This was such a packed book. There was a lot of history of the time. There were interviews with experts and even actors who played in Austen movies. There was biographical information about Jane Austen and each of her family members. It talked about the stories she wrote as a teenager. It went through book by book and character by character, giving tons of information. It also talked about the various movie versions of her books. I read Northanger Abbey last week and decided to watch a movie. The movie was HORRIBLE. Sure enough, when I looked at the review of that particular movie in this book, I found that I was not the only one who didn't enjoy it. I wish I owned this book!
