Christmas Goodies, Round 1

Lots (and lots and lots, huh, Mom?) of peanut butter balls

Pralines (GIANT pralines, huh, Jon)

Hello Dollies made by Brishen

Pumpkin bread made by Basia and Grandmother

Divinity, and adventure (and a recipe chunked into the trash)

There was no getting it off the spoon

or off the wax paper.

These are brownies. Made for Preston. Eaten by a lot of people besides Preston. Sorry, Preston.

We spent just a couple hours at my mom's house, but we each worked on something different so an amazing amount was accomplished. Let me see if I can remember all that was made: banana bread, divinity, pumpkin bread, Hello Dollies, fudge (2 batches), pralines, brownies, revel bars, Uncle David's cookies, and peanut butter balls. Let's just say that she who made the fudge did not carefully read the instructions, and ruined 2 batches. I won't name names. Some goodies were given as gifts, some were brought to church for the children's pageant, some were eaten, and some were frozen for Christmas.

The goodies look great, the fellowship looks awesome, but my comment is actually for Basia - LOVE that zebra and pink outfit! :)

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
