Christmas Memory #24
Christmas Eve in Mescalero. I remember a lot of them. We would go to the Reformed Church for service. Each child would get a brown lunch sack full of "goodies"--an orange, some unshelled nuts, and lots of hard candy that was unwrapped and all stuck together. I also remember stockings at my grandma's house were sometimes really stockings--you know, panty hose.
