Bread Baking Fridays

I've declared (and put in the schedule) that Fridays are the days when we make bread around here. I didn't make a whole lot of homemade bread last semester. I felt too busy and just didn't find the time. Now I'm MAKING the time to again keep a stock of homemade bread. I've also decided that making bread is part of our regular Friday curriculum, so the kids have been helping me. If we ever get a stock of our regular loaves in the freezer (it is hard not to eat too much bread when it is warm from the oven), we'll get creative on the types of bread we'll make. I'm excited to try to make some naan. Please don't come over expecting a piece of the loaf pictured above. That was made a couple weeks ago and is long gone. We made some regular wheat bread today, and it was the prettiest we've made so far.
