Will They Make the Cut?

Basia has been truly amazing (for someone who wants to hold onto every rock and piece of junk mail and bit of trash) about letting go of buckets full of toys before our move. She volunteered things that I thought I would have to sneak away from her. She parted with virtually every preschool toy in the house.


But these guys?


She is holding on tight. She hadn't actually played with them in a really long time, but she insists that they make the move with us. She let me donate their giant house. She parted with their dog and some of their friends. She really wants to keep these four, though. I keep telling her that she doesn't play with them, so we don't need them any more.


She finally got them out to play yesterday, I'm sure in an effort to prove them worthy, and I found this picture when I uploaded pictures today. Do they look like they're ready to make the trip down the road? They seem adventurous, happy, and willing to please. I guess she's done a good job of pleading their case after all.
