Target Practice
The kids watched a 30-second preview on how to score when sparring, and it led to hours of practicing all sorts of mean things on Basia's part. Brishen had his first chance to practice being a target. It's not so fun when you never get to fight back, it seems, not to mention the wearing of chest gear that doesn't quite cover that long body of his. Since full sparring gear costs $200-$300 per child, I have not yet gotten around to fully outfitting either of them, much less both.
