Call Us Crazy

As I type, I have many emails out to adoption agencies.  I am reading adoption blogs and sifting through packets of information.  The Moore Four has decided that four is just not enough for us.

There are a million decisions to make.  There is a lot of money to save.  Those are our first steps on this long and crazy road ahead.  Are you ready to witness this ride?

Congratulations.

I've been meaning to send you some information about an organization called the Zoe Foundation. They are trying to promote adoption as an alternative to abortion and are therefore trying to make adoption much more affordable. Their basic belief is that if we, as Christians, are going to encourage women not to abort their children, then we should be willing to step forward and adopt those children once they're born.

Check out: thezoefoundation(dot)com

Their website is a little confusing, but maybe you could get more information. They're trying to make domestic adoptions cost the bare minimum to cover expenses (around $6000 I think). It's a neat ministry, and maybe one worth looking in to. I don't know much else about them, but they are passionate about their vision.

Anxious to hear more about your journey!

Thanks, Lindy. I will defintely look into it. I think this time around we are going to do an international adoption, but we will likely be adopting again after this one and may consider domestic again, depending on how things go this time around. I really like organizations that allow people who do not have the heart for adoption to help out those who do but may be unable to afford it.
