Brishen chose this month's cheese. It was a Balsamic Bella Vitano. We each took a nibble (Basia had to be forced after last month's goat cheese). Here's how it stacked up:
Brishen: 8.7 out of 10 "Tastes like Parmesan. It's pretty good. I'd choose it over cheddar."
Basia: 0 out of 10 "What is in here? Why is it so hard?"
Melani: 8 out of 10 "It tastes like good Parmesan. I don't think it should be eaten plain. It should top a yummy risotto (hint, hint, Jon, the family risotto maker)."
Jon: 7.5 out of 10 "Slightly sweet, nutty and refined. The balsamic adds depth without overpowering the cheese itself."
We later noticed that some of Jon's review could be found directly on the packaging. He will no longer be allowed to see the package before he eats the cheese.
