Christmas Morning

Santa brought Brishen a variety of hot sauces.  He must have known that Brishen puts it on everything.

Brishen's biggest wish was for a couple D and D player's handbooks, and he got both and hasn't willingly put them down, yet.  He was just playing with the little miniatures, but I think he has been introduced to a whole new world of "creating your own characters," whatever that means.

We love our board games, and Jon got a new one for his collection!
Yes, Basia asked for Legos this year and was very pleased with the set she got.  I told the kids over and over again that "Christmas is not your birthday."  They did not get to make lists of requests, and they each got only one gift from us.  We tried to remind them, each time they thought of making a new request, about Jesus and what He would want for this holiday.  We are still good ole' Americans, though, so there was plenty of cultural Christmas celebrating, with goodies galore and gifts a plenty.

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
