Homestudy Visits Scheduled!

I finally decided to email our agency's director about whether I should contact our social worker or whether I should wait for him to contact us.  She got in touch with him right away and was pretty surprised we had not yet heard from him.  He called tonight, and we have scheduled our homestudy visits!! 

I'm just crossing my fingers that my husband will actually be able to be here for them, since his presence is a little bit mandatory.  It's hard to check with his daily schedule when he's at work and isn't answering his phone.  Anyway, a wee bit of progress is good!

This is our 3rd homestudy, so I basically know what to expect.  Will I still get really nervous?  Will I clean areas where I know he won't look?  Will I figure out how to keep my very active 7-year-old occupied and quiet-ish for the 4 or so hours that it takes to be questioned thoroughly?  Should I get my shaggy dog shaved before then?  So much to ponder.
