Our Week

Things One or More Moores Did This Week:

* A total of 10 Tae Kwon Do classes (not each!) with one tween doing contact sparring for the first time
* 1 basketball game, not a great one unfortunately, but happy to have grandparents here to watch
* 1 "your car is overheating, warning!  warning!" light could be seen in our van
* several ultimately unsuccessful attempts at figuring out who exactly our landlord is right now
* 1 basketball practice
* 1 missed boot camp due to faulty alarm setting (or possibly the person who set the alarm), 1 boot camp cancelled when I was the only one there, and 1 successful boot camp that lingers in my sore muscles today
* 2 early morning jogs with Jon!!
* 1 van to the mechanic and a bill that was surprisingly lower than usual
* 1 homeschool park day at a new park that includes a skate park, leading to two very happy Moore kids
* 1 visit to Ronald McDonald House that led to 1 little girl full of ideas for how to help others
* 2 sisters recieved our prayers and thoughts
* 1 full week of school done well
* 1 border-crossing visit to the dentist
* 1 great birthday party for 1 great friend
* 1 study on Bible study taught at a conference
* 2 times hearing a certain pastor preaching his sermon so we could enjoy time with a friend at one service and the contemporary music at another service
* 1 dinner out with a friend at a great restaurant where Jon apparently has many "business lunches" while we're at home eating pb&j
* 2 viewings of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie from 20+ years ago by 1 little girl, now obsessed
* 2 kids on a high from their Tae Kwon Do tournament who have practiced more on their own time this week than ever before
* 1 heck of a lot of the usual mom stuff for me and work stuff for Jon
