See those teeny, tiny dots on the top of that mountain? Not really? Yeah, me neither. This is for those who think homeschool kids are over-protected. Those tiny dots at the top of the mountain are all the older homeschool kids hanging out at the top of a mountain while all the moms stayed WAY below in the shade. We're considering sending a phone with them next time, you know, in case there's also a rattle snake up there.
St. Paddy's pancakes made by Dad this year.
Above and below you will find the St. Paddy's attire of my kiddos. Basia is wearing her lovely shades of green with syrup smears (yes, we stayed home). Brishen was saddened to find that the only shirts he had with any green on them were "church shirts." Church shirts are anything with any sort of button on them. He got inventive and used green Legos on his Lego shirt. If you surprise me, I might look like this. I wasn't surprised, but it may happen, and now you know what to watch for.
She tries to look innocent. It's just that she's not.
Case in point: I was trying to get a sweet picture of Grandmother and sweet granddaughter. Only, she's not.
Can you see Basia's foot way up there at the shoulder level of that grown man? This wasn't even her highest kick. All the kids lined up to do jumping snap kicks. They sat down one by one as the shield was raised and they missed. Tiny Basia (the 2nd shortest) was the last one jumping twice. She kicked one that was even with his head. And the crowd cheered.
