One great thing about our TKD school is that we are taught by some greats of the sport. Both of our regular masters have competed worldwide and have had impressive careers in TKD. It is pretty awesome to see them in action, even now that they are in their 30s and teaching instead of training. Brishen got the opportunity, although I don't think he would have called it that at the time, to spar with Julio Saunders on Saturday. Julio is part of our school, grew up training with our masters, and is now off to do some pretty cool things in TKD. He has just made the 2011 Military World Championships Team. He has also made the World Class Athlete Program for the US Army and will soon be moving away to train full time.
