The Ides of April
Yep, today, the 13th of April, is the Ides of April. Trust me. I just got quite the lecture from my classically homeschooled son about the reasons. I also think the author of the book I just assigned to him entitled Ides of April should have done a little more research as to the meaning of Ides before naming the book and assuming (like me) that the Ides is always on the 15th. I am trying to give that child a good education, and he, in turn, is giving one back to me. I guess that's good. Should I have him write a letter to the author?
