I assigned duties for one breakfast per week to each of the children and my husband because, frankly, I'm a little sick of making three meals a day and would like to be able to take a walk on non-boot camp days without worrying about having breakfast ready when everyone gets up. When I assigned the days, my sweet daughter asked me when it was my turn to cook, since there can't possibly be 4 other mornings per week and 2 other meals each day that I might be responsible for making. I held my tongue and let her know that she needn't worry, that I would still occasionally make a meal.
Monday is "Muffin Day," and the day I assigned to Basia. Most of the time, I make the muffins on Sunday so they are ready for the week ahead. She just has to plate them and add fruit or milk or whatever she thinks should go with the muffins. You can see below that she thought we should each have a different type of fruit with our muffin. It's a good thing Jon wasn't home. I hear he would have gotten a whole cantaloupe on his plate, just to make sure we each got a different fruit.

So wonderful and sweet. I wish Jon was there so he could eat his cantaloupe with his hands!
