I have wanted to be part of a CSA (community supported agriculture) for YEARS, but I couldn't find a local one to join. Today we got to pick up our first ever share from a new CSA, and we are so excited. We stink as farmers so this is the best way for us to get to eat veggies that were picked from a local garden today. We will learn so much about new (to us) veggies, and we will be eating things that are fresh and local. The veggies luckily came with a handout explaining each item and ways to prepare them. We will have to drive up to Las Cruces to get our produce each week once the summer harvest starts, but we happen to have people to visit and things to do up there anyway.
