Visit Day 2: Cattleman's Steakhouse

The only way you can get our vegetarian family to a steakhouse that literally doesn't serve salads or any vegetarian options, other than a couple sides, is for it to be Cattleman's Steakhouse, where there are tons of fun things to do before you eat.  It was definitely worth the trip, and we even enjoyed the baked potato and mushrooms (me), curly fries and corn on the cob (kids) and salmon (Jon--yes, he does eat fish a couple times a year while the rest of us look the other way!).

Lots of fun with cousins led to both of my kids sleeping on the drive out there.  Brishen tried to deny it, but I have picture proof.

A quarter (or maybe lots of quarters) bought us lots of rabbit food to send down the tube.  We were some of the first visitors of the day, so the rabbits loved us!

Some more quarters fed the goats.

We chose not to throw the kids into the pit, so the rattlesnakes had to go without their food this time.

The kids could have played for hours! It would be a fun field trip.

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
