I rarely have a great picture on this blog. I rarely say anything too inspiring or interesting to anyone but myself. I consider this blog to be a diary of sorts. I record the "every day" of our lives, including the blurry pictures and ho-hum moments. Today I am sharing the "every day" of little Kaia's life.
For those who don't know or remember (you're not taking notes???), Kaia is my niece. She was hospitalized much of February until they found that she has Addison's Disease and developed a treatment plan for her. She has been doing really well, thanks to just the right doses of meds and parents who have gotten good at giving them to her.
They were all here on Sunday, so Basia got to help with some careful mixing. I know that Kaia will get older and start popping pills all by herself when her timer sounds. We will all forget these earlier days of precise measuring and squirting yucky stuff into her mouth while she squirms. Now we will have picture proof on my not-too-exciting-sort-of-a-blog about how it used to be.

There will be a day when we forget that we had to make those solutions 3 times a day!
