The Wedding

You can see my post below if you don't know why Jon is doing a wedding without wearing a tie and while holding a purple iphone (smart bride, having the whole planned ceremony on her phone!)
This is my cousin, Lydia, and her new husband Andy.

Every piece of cake was this big.  Well, every piece of cake was this big except for one.  Mine.  I know I should hold back on giant pieces of cake, but it was a bit of a let-down seeing everyone else emerge with ginormous pieces of yummy lemon cake and then getting a mini piece myself.  I'm not bitter, though.  Really. OK, after complaining I have to admit that Basia only ate about two bites of her cake, so Camden and I got to enjoy as much as we wanted of this giant piece.

Isn't this a lovely wedding picture?  You can't tell from the picture, but my mom's beautiful silver necklace was in pieces all through this thick grass.  Basia spent quite some time treasure hunting.

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
