Now THAT'S a Field Trip

Yes, our field trip was so awesome that the local ABC News crew was there interviewing the organizing homeschool mom and some of the kids! 

 Well, I obviously couldn't take a picture of us while we were up in the air, so I'll settle for this one of another group of homeschoolers.  I'm pretty sure we looked about the same from the ground, flying up over West El Paso.

 Here we are, ready to board the Cessna. 

 Basia had fun talking into the headphone.  Brishen was pretty quiet--except when he accidentally opened his window mid-flight.  I think he just may have expected to be sucked out or at least in big trouble.  The pilot assured him that they open the windows to let in fresh air all summer long.

 I didn't get a picture of it, but the coolest view we had was of the local corn maze.  It was so much fun to see this view of it!  I have a lot more respect for the artistry of all those mazes now.

Seriously, I can't believe we got to fly in one of these on a field trip!  This was an experience that I hope the kids never forget!
