Above and below is our entry hallway. The top view is looking at our front doors from the living room, and the bottom view is looking toward our living room from our front doors.
GOALS:
1. Paint
2. Acquire original artwork a little at a time
Here is the first hallway, heading toward bedrooms. The first door you see is a coat closet. I can't tell you how nice that is to have after a winter spent with 6 kids and their various coats and jackets and absolutely nowhere to put them!! The closet on the right is nice and big and full of shelves. Right now it stores our board games and our medications. The medications will someday be moved, but we have to have them somewhere that locks, so this works for now. There is still a ton of shelf space, so I am trying to decide what else to store there. I am considering craft supplies.
GOALS:
1. Paint hallway white (I'm not a fan of cream)
2. Hooks in coat closet that are easy for little ones to reach
3. Organization system for top of closet for hats, gloves, etc.
4. Move meds out of game closet so kids can get to games without key
5. Decide what else to store in game closet
6. Add light to coat closet
Here is the longer hallway connecting all the bedrooms. I am standing at the end of the hall, where the two boy rooms are located. The first door on the right is to a very narrow closet. The shelves seem just right for videos, video games, and CDs, so that's what we have there. I really have no idea what else would fit in there nicely.
GOALS:
1. Paint white
There's nothing fancy about the laundry area, but here it is. I have the calendar and a clip board for each child hung on the walls on the left. The clip boards for the foster kids holds all their medication logs and other important paperwork for the current month. The clip boards for the other two hold things like schedules and event reminders for B and B.
GOALS:
1. "Lost Socks" sign from pinterest
2. Make another matching storage bin
3. Make fancy menu board (thanks, Diana!)
4. To-do list dry erase idea from pinterest
5. Basically turn this area into Organization Center for house, but neat and tidy one since guest bathroom is near
This is a view of the same area, standing near the washer. This shows the closet corner with a nice closet on either side. The door all the way to the right is the garage.
GOALS:
1. Make decorative boxes for homeschool closet
2. Organize bottom two areas for pool things
