Kids' Rooms

Bedroom number 1 is the nursery.  We have our littlest foster child in here now.  It is big enough for two, so we can pull in our other crib or a toddler bed, if needed.  I saw a design show where they did a nursery with one really bright wall and then the rest of the decor a crisp black and white.  I loved it!  I just have to be patient in my search for the right black and white pieces to finish what I started.  It's tough to find affordable black and white crib bedding!  In time...
GOALS:
1. Black and white crib bedding
2.  Smaller rocking chair
3.  Black and white decor for walls

This would be the boys' room (3 pics).  It was sort of baseball themed when we bought it, so we are sticking with the colors and the cool fan.  It actually is big enough for 4 kids, according to CPS rules, but I'm not sure I could survive that many more boys!  It has two full closets, which is very nice.
GOALS:
1. Bedding
2.  Wall decor
3.  Get rid of strange angel lightswitch cover!

Brishen's room.  Brishen has the smallest room, which he accepts because he doesn't have to share.  It's still bigger than his room at the other house and has a nice, big closet, so he's ahead of the game.  He's methodically getting all his Lego creations set up just has he wants them.  He could never have too many shelves.
GOALS:
1. Wall shelves

The girls' room.  Right now this is Basia's room, but we try to call it the girls' room so she remembers that she may be sharing someday.  It has room enough for three girls, according to CPS regulations.  She wanted the walls painted light gray, so we did that before we moved.  We are going with teal, lime, and deep purple for the accent colors, but we have done no accenting so far.
GOALS:
1. Dresser
2. Wall art
3. Wall bins (pinterest) and shelves for each child's personal things

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
