I went by myself to Lowe's this morning for about 36 minutes. Miss MK (age 28 months) asked me 36 times as I was putting her down for nap if I would "stay here."
"You stay here?"
"Yes, I'm going to stay here."
"You stay here?"
"Yes, I will stay here."
"You stay here?"
etc.
She knows enough about moms to know they are important (which is a good sign) but cannot trust enough that moms return when they leave. We have a long road to go. I hope to see amazing transformations come about when she can relax a little and learn what a secure family is like.
