I was lucky enough to get to go on a date with Basia last night (line dancing at church and then McD's for a treat) and Brishen today (cupcake at a little bakery--we declined the mac and cheese cupcake and the Guinness and bacon cupcake--and then to a comic book store). They were both short, last minute affairs, but it was nice to get to spend some 1 on 1 time with each big kid!
Here's Basia's take on one part of church camp:
"Do you know why they keep the boys and girls separated at Sacramento, Mom?"
"I'm not sure, why?"
"To stop all the fights! The girls HAD to bang on the walls and yell at the boys to stop stomping."
