Today's Agenda

7:30am--leave home with all 6 kids completely fed and beeeauuutiful to take Jon to airport across town (oh, and lunch made for B2 and carseats put into rental van and 3 diaper bags packed)
8:30am--back to our part of town to drop B and B off for VBS
9:00am--back to middle of town to drop two off for family visit
9:30am--Hobby Lobby with two remaining kids to secure some pink polka-dot party supplies
10:00am--home for a bottle and a sippy cup and snack before...
10:30am--back downtown to pick other two up from visit
11:00am--impromptu doctor visit--get this:  all four little ones, one parent (me!!), NO helpers, at the doctor--sheesh!  This is literally one of my worst nightmares and something I try very, very hard to avoid!
12:45am--drop off prescriptions, pick up lunch, rush home to eat (B1 was driven home by friend) before...
1:30pm--head back downtown for another kiddo's family visit
2:00pm--head to store with four kids in tow to order birthday cake for Sunday
2:45pm--head back to church to pick up B2 from after program
3:05pm--pick up prescriptions and snack from a hole in the wall bakery nearby
3:30pm--time to pick up kid from visit
4:00pm--pick up organic fruit and veggie box on the way home
4:30pm--me, shocked that the kids DID NOT nap during all that driving, put the now VERY whiny (sobbing) kids down for some quiet time before dinner.  Let's just say it wasn't quiet at all
7:00pm--Taekwondo time for B and B
7:30pm--Mom's Night Out for mom (with four little ones, of course, but others were nice enough to encourage me to come anyway)
8:30pm--pick up B and B
9:10pm--home at last!  Kids are sleepy, grumpy, dopey, and probably a few of the other dwarves

Can I say that this is not my favorite sort of day?  Can I add that my kids feel the same way and express it in all sorts of loud and whiny and obstinate ways? But, somehow we survived it all and will head back out in the morning.  Tonight, I'm hoping we all sleep long and hard!
