7 Months Old!

Wee One is 7 months old today.  He's been with us since he was a teeny-tiny 3-month old.  He is now a rolly polly one.  I can't even tell you how lovely it is to have a baby (or 2) around.  Each day with him (them) is a blessing to me.  I think that I wanted babies for so long that I can truly appreciate my moments with my babies.  I always know that they are not my forever babies, but they are mine for now to hold and cuddle and hug and kiss and love like crazy, and that's enough.  I have been so lucky to have only really happy babies, 3 so far.  Wee One is certainly a happy, easy-going little guy, and I can't get enough of him.

Here are some facts about Wee One on his 7-month day:

1.  He is occasionally sleeping through the night, which is a wonderful thing!
2.  He loves all kinds of baby food and thinks finger foods are even cooler.
3.  He has been sitting by himself for about a month and is pretty good at it.
4.  He has been rolling all over the room for a while now and can get anywhere by rolling.
5.  He started army crawling a couple days ago, giving him his first forward motion.
6.  He is really ticklish all over!
7.  He loves his blanket.

8.  He loves cloth toys best.

9.  He is a snuggler, happy to bury his face in my shoulder or chest for the longest time.
10.  His giant, sparkly blue eyes stop traffic.  They are so unexpected with his dark skin and curls, and they get comments everywhere we go.
11.  He has been diagnosed with laryngomalacia.
12.  He can only drink from one type of bottle without choking:
13.  He loves looking out the window.  He does it from his crib.  He is happy to be on the floor in my room, looking out the French doors for the longest time.  I wonder what he is thinking or watching.
14.  He weighs about 18 pounds.  He wears size 9 month clothes and size 2 shoes.
15.  He is toothless.
16.  Oh, how I love seeing his face break into a smile when he hears me say his name from across the room.
17.  All the other kids can get him to giggle.
18.  He is fine in his carseat as long as we are moving.
19.  He is obsessed with grabbing the spoon when we try to feed him.
20.  I love, love putting him to bed.  He is always happy to be put in his crib because he knows he will get his blanket.  I lay him down and cover him.  He smiles, grabs the blanket with two chubby fists, pulls it up over his head momentarily, and then rolls over onto his side.  Sometimes he will roll all the way to his tummy and burrow his head in his sheet.  It is all so adorable.

Happy 7th month, Wee One!
