Night number 1: Noche de Luminarias with friends. My camera and picture-taking abilities are insufficient enough that I will not be sharing pictures of the event. The luminarias were beautiful, as always, even if it all seemed less peaceful this year with a few extra kiddos to watch and make sure they wouldn't

The kids surprised me by not screaming when they saw Santa. Now, had they been required to sit on his lap...
Night Number 2: Celebrating the Big 2 for cousin Kaia! Diana did an amazing job planning the party. My mom did an amazing job with the cake and cupcakes. I did an amazing job of leaving her house once it looked like a few tornadoes had struck.
