Charlie killed another tiny kitten. (!!!in front of all my kids!!)
We found a tortoise in our driveway and kept it in a box until I made the kids release it near our driveway. We watched it go in case it went into the street and needed rescued. It walked right across our driveway and into its own hole under a tree in our front yard! Who knows how long he has been sharing our land with us.
