So, I'm not the kind of mom who loves to get into the newest movie (especially Disney princess movie) craze. I don't seem to have that much control of things around here, though, and Frozen has infiltrated my family big time. The kids sang a couple of the songs from Frozen at their school performance, so they practiced singing it non stop. That means Edison now sings Frozen songs. That also means Sir Smiles, who doesn't exactly have the largest of vocabularies, runs around singing "Let it Gooooooooo!" at the top of his little lungs. Jon said they had a 3-way musical round going in the back of his car this morning featuring one of the Frozen songs..
There are constant fights among my kids of who gets to be Anna and who gets to be Elsa--yes, I have a lot of boys, but that does not change the frequency of fighting. Edison will regularly tell me that "I Anna." They have finally agreed that it is OK for two people to be Anna and two people to be Elsa at the same time, so the fighting isn't as vicious.
Here's how I know Frozen may be a bit too revered in this house: Zade was talking at the dinner table. "Guys. Guys! Guess what my birth mom's name is? Her name is Elsa!"
