T Minus 2 Months

Can we stop counting already??!  I can't believe we only have two months left before my baby will have his first birthday!  When the baby of the family hits all these milestones, it's a little harder to take.

Let me tell you a little about the 10-month-old Roo:

1.  His words:  bye-bye, mama, clap, uh-oh, up
2.  His teeth:  8 big, beautiful teeth, with quite the space between the top two
3.  His skillz:  standing for long periods without holding anything, an occasional one step forward, pushing his push toy all around the house, clapping, waving with two hands at once, clicking his tongue, fake crying with the cutest wrinkled up nose, throwing his pacifier, spitting, dancing
4.  His super skill:  fine motor skills galore in the form of picking up the tiniest of objects found hidden in the carpet so he can determine if it is a baby delicacy or just something to carry around the room
5.  His love:  soft stuff like pillows and blankets, but especially our new soft couch
6.  His favorite color:  orange (yes, we assign favorite colors at this age, and one day he'll wonder why orange was his favorite)
7.  His big news:  his official CPS goal is adoption by us!  We have about six months until that can happen, but we are excited that the goal is official.
