Picture Catch-Up: June

I decided to stop blogging when a foster parent I know here had her foster children removed after she posted something about them on Facebook.  She did end up getting them back when the judge decided they were better off in their settled home, but it scared me enough to not take any chances with Asa.  I have always been careful about what I show and what I say, but blogging just was not worth the risk to me.

That means I have five months worth of pictures to highlight!

Edison went through a phase of refusing to sleep in his room.  This was as close as he got.

We took a walk to see the river, and the ditch to get to the river had much more water than we had seen before.  We crossed it anyway!  

This kind of mess was very, very common for a while.  He needed a bath after every meal!  He still likes to use his hair as a napkin, but it's not this bad anymore.  Whew!

 For Father's Day, the kids each got to choose a pair of fun socks for Jon.  I think this is a new tradition!  They were so proud, and Jon loves them.

Edison discovered my make-up.  He ruined much of it.  He also wrote on my bedside table and a couple lamp shades with eyeliner.  Once he took a nap on my bed after getting into my make-up.  When Jon found him later, he thought Edison had been seriously injured from falling out of bed because of the red all over his face and hands and shirt.  Nope.  It was my make-up, again.

Soren lost his first tooth in June!  He was the first of all the little ones to lose a tooth.  I bought that little hedgehog tooth pillow for all the future lost teeth in our family.  I figure there are going to be times in the next few years that teeth will be falling out left and right.  I want to get the system as efficient as possible for the forgetful tooth fairy's sake.
