Basia has been begging for a "real" skateboard for weeks. Her bright red preschool version was not quite cool enough or big enough for her anymore. Brishen decided that he, too, would try out skateboarding, so off we went this morning to buy them each a skateboard. As soon as we got home, they got on all their safety gear and headed outside for some practice.
Sadly, the fun ended when I made them come in for lunch. After lunch it's nap time for one and school time for the other. Neither was very happy with me. I don't think they really believe that there will still be time for more fun when those duties are finished.
