Way to go, Jon!
I just wanted to congratulate Jon on being selected for the Lewis Center for Church Leadership program on Achieving Excellence in Church Leadership. It is a series of 4 3-day trips to different areas in the country for programs geared toward young clergy leadership. It would cost each participant $10000, but it is all payed for with an endowment. Jon sent in an application and got news of his acceptance yesterday. It means more trips away from us in an already-busy year of work travel, but we are proud of him and his accomplishments.
