Child Labor

While their grandparents are away, Brishen and Basia are each responsible for part of the care of their home/garden/pets. Grandmother made them each a list of the things they are to do each day, and today was their second day of "work." Brishen is primarily responsible for keeping their vegetable garden, yard, and main flower beds alive, so he does lots of watering. You can see what Basia's responsibilities in one of the following pictures.

My mom was afraid that her peaches would become ripe this week while they are gone. I think they are getting close. We may just be the first to eat a ripe peach this year!
