Father's Day Gourmet Movie Experience

We turned our house into a gourmet(ish) movie theater this afternoon to celebrate Father's Day.
The kids ran the concession stand.

Brishen and Basia both made signs for the concessions. Brishen had some very creative pricing. He would have you know that the number with 21 zeros is sextillion. He has checked out virtually every book the library has about numbers and super-high counting, so he knows such things. I think you can see more details if you click on the picture. At least the dads got a deal with some free items and some good sales.

Here is Jon, trying to decide what to order. He originally tried to order, "one of everything," but we told him that was not allowed.

Saralyn and I both tried to get at our dad's heart through his stomach. Neither of us remembered, though, that he heads to Mexico tomorrow morning for a week of home building. I sure hope he felt like eating and eating and eating tonight! I think that he might want to freeze the cobbler for another time. It's not the best time for a sick stomach. We love you, Dad!

I love the pricing! Is this movie theatre open every weekend?

Brishen's Birthday, Too

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
