Hanging Out and Volleyball Game

Our in-town family got together this afternoon to celebrate my brother's birthday. After the cake and ice cream, we just hung out for a while. The kids got out some of my mom's dress-up clothes. They prefer to wear the cummerbunds on their heads for some reason.

Then we went to the exhibition game for the NMSU Aggie volleyball team. We all really love the games and are glad the season is beginning again. Basia was so excited to see Pistol Pete and the cheerleaders back to work. My dad may get a big workout this year during the games. Every time the male cheerleaders lifted the girls over their heads, Basia would run over to Granddad and ask to be lifted in the same way. She loved it! Even her hamster, "Hammy," enjoyed the game.
