Race #2

Here are Brishen and Basia with their cousins, Graeme and Gretchen before the kid races.

It seems Basia got a bit ahead of the others, since they aren't even in the picture, literally.





And they're off. This is the beginning of the 1/2 mile race for kids.

Although every single child got a "Finisher" ribbon, Basia is sure that she got hers because she won.

We each did a different race on Labor Day, but we joined back together for this family photo with our race numbers.

Jon got a condition called "nipple chafing" after his second race. We had been joking about it the day before, so it was a bit amusing when it actually happened to him. Basia insisted on a picture of him with his bandaid.
