Tailgating--the mini version

Yesterday Basia and I went to an Aggie volleyball game. While waiting for Jon to pick us up after the game, we wandered around the huge tailgating area for the Aggie/Lobo football game. Everywhere we looked were huge set-ups: big trucks and even motor homes, large awnings, jumbo grills, giant coolers. We finally managed to find my brother's tailgating area. Kenn is not a small guy, but his tailgating style is a little little compared to what we saw around them. Above is the sea of tailgaters galore.

And here is Kenn's itty bitty grill and his colorful beach umbrella for shade.

I did like his shirt.

Here it is in full. Their little piece of land. A grill much shorter than my short daughter. A cooler barely big enough for Kenn's small rear. An umbrella that could almost cover a couple of them. Hey, who says you have to do it big to have fun? Definitely not my big, little brother!
You know I love you, Kenn!

We were in Sacramento on Brishen's birthday, but we made it home to celebrate the next day.  He wanted green chile potato corn chowder...
