I competed in my 5th half marathon today. It was a year ago this event when I did my first marathon. Here's why I'm proud:
1. I have been at least half-marathon ready at all times for over a year
2. I tied my best ever half-marathon time today without jogging a step when usually I jog for the last 3 miles
3. I got 1st in my age division, thus winning a kachina doll and 5th overall in the walking division
4. I survived again and look forward to many more marathons and half-marathons in the future
